1. Scout is analytics software, not betting advice
Scout produces statistical estimates: calibrated match-outcome probabilities, comparisons against bookmaker odds, and Kelly-style stake suggestions. These are outputs of a quantitative model, offered as information. They are not recommendations, tips, or advice to place any bet, and they are not financial or investment advice. Any decision to bet is yours alone.
2. Probabilities are estimates
Every probability Scout shows is an estimate, not a fact about the future. All forecasting involves error: models simplify reality, data is incomplete, and sports are genuinely uncertain. A forecast with a positive estimated edge can still lose, and often will. Even a well-calibrated model loses many individual bets by design.
3. Past results do not guarantee future results
Scout publishes a self-graded track record so you can judge the model on evidence rather than marketing. That record is shown honestly, including losing picks and losing stretches. It is exactly that: a historical record. Past calibration and past performance do not guarantee future results. Markets adapt, seasons change, and any edge can shrink or disappear.
4. Bet responsibly
Never bet money you cannot afford to lose. Set a budget before you start, treat any betting spend as entertainment cost rather than income, and never chase losses. If betting stops feeling like a choice, stop and seek help.
Warning signs worth taking seriously:
- betting more than you planned, or with money set aside for essentials
- chasing losses with bigger stakes
- hiding your betting from people close to you
- feeling anxious, irritable, or low when you are not betting
5. Age restrictions
Scout is for adults only. You must be at least 18, or older where your jurisdiction sets a higher minimum age for gambling or gambling-related content (for example 21 in several US states). If you are under the applicable age, do not use Scout.

7. Legality is your responsibility
Sports betting is regulated differently everywhere and is illegal in some places. You are responsible for knowing and complying with the law where you live. Using Scout does not make betting legal for you, and Scout does not verify whether betting is permitted in your jurisdiction.
8. Scout does not accept or place wagers
Scout is not a bookmaker, betting exchange, or gambling operator. We do not accept, place, or broker wagers, and we never hold betting funds. Scout has no affiliation with any bookmaker whose odds appear in the product; odds are displayed for comparison only.
