Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of Scout. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Scout.

1. Who we are

Scout is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME AND ADDRESS] (referred to in these terms as "Scout", "we", or "us"). You can reach us at [support email].

2. What Scout is

Scout is analytics and information software for sports forecasting. The service produces calibrated match-outcome probabilities, compares them against bookmaker odds to estimate edge, suggests stake sizes using Kelly-style formulas, and publishes a self-graded track record of its own forecasts, including losses.

Scout is not a bookmaker and is not a gambling operator. Specifically, Scout:

  • does not accept, place, broker, or facilitate wagers of any kind
  • does not hold or handle betting funds
  • does not guarantee the accuracy of any forecast or the profitability of any strategy
  • does not provide financial, investment, legal, or gambling advice

Everything Scout produces is statistical estimation offered for informational purposes only. See also our Responsible Use Disclaimer.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Scout, or older if the law of your place of residence sets a higher minimum age for gambling-related content (for example 21 in some jurisdictions). By using Scout you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Scout, and any sports betting you choose to do, is legal where you live. Scout does not verify the legality of betting in your jurisdiction.

4. Your account

You need an account to use Scout. Accounts are managed through our authentication provider, Supabase. You agree to:

  • provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date
  • keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account
  • notify us promptly at [support email] if you suspect unauthorized access
  • maintain no more than one account per person

You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts created to evade limits, bans, or free allowances.

5. Plans and billing

New accounts receive 3 free forecast generations on signup. Beyond that, Scout offers a paid subscription and one-time generation packs. All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Prices and allowances. The current subscription plans, their prices, billing intervals and included forecast generations, and the current generation pack sizes and prices, are those shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. The price and allowance you accept at checkout are the ones that apply to that purchase. We may change the price list for future purchases; changes do not affect a billing period you have already paid for.

Subscriptions. A subscription renews automatically at the interval you chose (weekly or monthly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal, accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We do not refund partial billing periods except where the law requires it.

Generation packs. Packs are a single purchase, not a subscription, and pack generations never expire.

6. Generation allowances

The following rules apply to all forecast generations, whether from the free signup allowance, a subscription, or a pack:

  • Subscription generations are the allowance shown for your plan on the pricing page at the time of purchase. They reset at the start of each billing period. Unused subscription generations do not roll over.
  • Pack generations never expire and remain available as long as your account exists.
  • Generations have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Generations are non-transferable between accounts and may not be sold or given to others.
  • A generation is consumed when a forecast is produced for you, regardless of whether you act on it.

7. Refunds and your right of withdrawal

Generation packs. If you are a consumer in the EU or a jurisdiction with similar rules, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital content purchases. A pack is refundable within 14 days of purchase if it is entirely unused. By purchasing a pack you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content, and you acknowledge that once you consume generations from a pack you lose the right of withdrawal for that pack, in line with EU consumer law rules on digital content.

Subscriptions. You can stop future charges at any time by cancelling as described in section 5. Amounts already billed for the current billing period are not refunded except where required by law.

To request a refund, contact [support email].

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data, forecasts, or odds from the service by any automated means
  • resell, republish, or redistribute Scout outputs, including operating a tipster, picks, or signals service based on them
  • use bots, scripts, or other automation to generate forecasts, circumvent generation limits, or otherwise abuse the service
  • probe, disrupt, or overload our infrastructure, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the models or source code behind the service, except where the law grants you that right
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose, including betting where it is illegal for you

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access that violates this section, without refund for the affected period.

9. Intellectual property

Scout and its software, models, design, and branding belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service and its outputs for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.

10. No warranty

THE SERVICE AND ALL FORECASTS, PROBABILITIES, EDGE ESTIMATES, STAKE SUGGESTIONS, AND TRACK-RECORD DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SCOUT MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT ANY FORECAST IS ACCURATE, THAT ANY ESTIMATED EDGE EXISTS, OR THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL BE PROFITABLE. SPORTS OUTCOMES ARE UNCERTAIN, ALL STATISTICAL MODELS CONTAIN ERROR, AND PAST PERFORMANCE, INCLUDING SCOUT'S OWN GRADED TRACK RECORD, DOES NOT GUARANTEE FUTURE RESULTS. YOU MAY LOSE MONEY IF YOU BET. ANY DECISION TO BET, AND ANY LOSSES THAT RESULT, ARE YOURS ALONE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

11. Not betting or financial advice

Scout outputs are statistical information, not advice. You must not rely on them as financial, investment, or gambling advice, and you must not treat any probability, edge estimate, or stake suggestion as a recommendation to place a bet. If you choose to bet, you do so at your own risk and on your own judgment. Never bet money you cannot afford to lose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scout will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the service, including any betting losses you incur after using Scout outputs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Price and service changes

We may change subscription prices, pack prices, or included allowances. For subscription changes we will give you at least 14 days notice by email or in-app notice before the new price takes effect, and the change applies from your next billing period. If you do not agree, cancel before the change takes effect. We may also modify, add, or remove features of the service; if a change materially reduces the service you have paid for, you may cancel and request a pro rata refund of any unused prepaid amount.

14. Termination

You can stop using Scout and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate without cause or discontinue the service, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period and the value of unused pack generations. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 10, 11, 12, and 16) survive it.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will give you notice by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last revised.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [Denmark / your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of [Denmark / your jurisdiction], unless mandatory consumer protection law lets you bring or defend a claim in your country of residence. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
